LinkedIn reportedly restricts account of doctor who credits himself as the inventor of mRNA vaccine technology due to his posts about COVID-19 vaccines and other treatments: Dr. Robert Malone, who some people consider to be the creator of mRNA vaccine technology, reportedly had his LinkedIn account "restricted," according to a purported email LinkedIn Customer Support sent to the doctor. "Your account was restricted due to multiple violations of LinkedIn's User Agreement and Professional Community Policies against sharing content that contains misleading or inaccurate information," the email to Malone started out. It then listed several posts Dr. Malone made, which LinkedIn considered to be misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines. The earliest post listed by LinkedIn as violating its policies was created on May 28, the latest was created just several days ago. The posts criticized generally held beliefs that the COVID-19 vaccines are safe, and questioned their efficacy. Just the News reported on the censorship of Dr. Malone on LinkedIn. The outlet spoke with his wife, Jill Malone, who together with her husband runs a biotech and government consulting business. The page for their business has remained up on LinkedIn, reported Just the News, but its most recent post is three weeks old. Just the News reached out to Microsoft-owned LinkedIn, but did not receive an explanation as to why it took down Malone's personal account, or whether his business account was locked and, if so, on what grounds. "He was given no notice, no warnings" before being removed from the platform Tuesday, Dr. Malone's wife, Jill, wrote in an email to Just the News. "He has a 10-15 year old account - has never even had a warning. 6,000 followers."

***UPDATE***

An unverified account purportedly operated by The Christian Post reported on July 7 that LinkedIn reinstated Dr. Malone's account.

Dr. Malone's offices are in Virginia's 5th Congressional District, represented currently by Republican Robert "Bob" Good. Virginia's senators are Democrats Tim Kaine and Mark Warner.
